Aromatic Tour of the Amazon
18th Edition - XXV Release of the Turtles.
From February 19 to 24, 2027.
The Aromatic Tour of February 2027 offers a unique experience amidst the seasonal transition of Amazonian waters. The rivers are rising, yet the beaches still frame the landscape and reveal the turtle hatchery, where visitors can observe the young ones preparing for release. Under the waning moon, the nights are perfect for experiencing the starry sky while canoeing through the igarapés, where the tranquility of darkness enhances the vastness of the universe. The surrounding forest awakens the senses with sounds, scents, and an ancestral energy that connects each visitor to the essence of the Amazon.
Fabian Laszlo
Guest Professor
CEO of the Laszlo Group, he has over 25 years of experience working and researching phytochemistry and essential oils. He is the editor-in-chief of Editora Laszlo, which specializes in books on aromatherapy, medicinal cannabis and health. He was responsible, together with the Coordination of PNPICS at the Ministry of Health, for the inclusion of Aromatherapy in the SUS and for the creation of the National Aromatherapy Day.
The presence of an Aromatherapy teacher on the Aromatic Tour enhances the experience, providing a rich exchange of practical knowledge between the riverside communities and the participants.
On this trip, you will learn from Professor Fabian how to encapsulate and ingest essential oils without health risks (and when it can be done, as well as contraindications), how to make vaginal ovules and suppositories with essential oils, the difference between the forms of inhalation, dermal absorption and the best vehicles to use. Examples will be given of the best oils to be used in specific everyday situations.
We will have an open space for students to bring their main questions about essential oils and aromatherapy to be answered.

*BONUS: Essential oils from the Amazon
Anyone who goes on the Amazon Aromatic Tour will receive a free Amazon Essential Oils Workshop, which will be taught online in June, prior to the trip. They will also have the opportunity to ask Fábián any questions they may have about the Amazonian plants studied, as well as to get to know many of them in the forest.
